Spot 1 Pre-Production: Wellcare
These art samples were created based on a provided script, corporate brand identity color palettes, and the client’s desire for bright, engaging communication.
Because the script was being written concurrently with the storyboards we brainstormed several different scenarios, and occasionally the same scenario featuring different characters.
The script changed once more during the animatic and character creation/rigging phase. Our main character, Chloe, transitioned from patient to spokesperson, and with that our animatic was locked for production.

Trillium Health Plan Welcome & Choosing Spots
Production for spots two and three differed from one, because they were produced concurrently. Building on the existing assets for Chloe and the rest, the new script called for several member characters, as well as a selection of doctors. The gallery to the right includes character designs and a few assets created for the new animations.
Storyboards were specifically designed with an eye for reuse between spots to satisfy budgetary and scheduling considerations.
Our planning in the storyboarding stage laid groundwork for a quick animatic phase, which rolled straight into animation production.
