From owner’s manuals, to online courses, to video tutorials, instructional design is a mainstay of the modern world. Creating educational material is about understanding the subject matter thoroughly, then breaking it down into digestible steps, which is why clear, engaging imagery is essential to effective education.
The Blockea Shiald zine was created in collaboration with the PDX Shield Collective to document and share their process with the community. Collective members taught me the shield process, together we wrote and edited the steps, and I created the illustrations based on those steps.
